The Jakobstad - Pietarsaari Museum
Welcome to the Jakobstad-Pietarsaari Museum
Step in to the Malm House, our town museum,
at Storgatan 2, Jakobstad. The museum is open
Tuesday to Sunday 12-4 pm and our office at
Storgatan 4 is open weekdays 9 am-4 pm.
The museum also has an Exhibition centre
in the old Tobacco warehouse on Jakobsgatan 9.
The centre is open Tuesday to Sunday 12-4 pm
and on Wednesdays also 6-8 pm.
The museum and exhibition centre are closed
1.1.2019, 6.1, 19-22.4, 1.5, 30.5-1.6, 21-23.6,
2-3.11, 6.12, 24.-26.12 and 1.1.2020.
(The exhibition centre is open on Mother's day 8.5
and Father's day 13.11)
Entrance to the museum is 4 euros for adults,
for children the entrance is free.
The museum card is valid at Jakobstad Museum.
Visits are possible during the museum's opening hours.
The card also applies to the exhibition hall in the
Tobacco Warehouse. The museum card is a common
entrance ticket to Finnish museums. The card is valid
for one year from the date the card was first used.
With the personal Museum Card you have access to
over 200 museums in different parts of Finland.

Groups from the city's schools have free admission
to the museum's exhibitions. For others, the guiding
fee is 30 €/group weekdays 8 am to 4 pm,
and after 4 pm the guiding fee is 50 €/group.
